Cheryl Cole steps up plans to break US with Glee and Hollywood roles
Cheryl Cole finally looks to be gaining some momentum in her quest to break into the US market, having landed a cameo role in new movie What To Expect When You're Expecting and now reached a deal to appear in Glee.
The Geordie singer's hopes of winning American hearts in the same way as she has done in the UK looked to be hanging by a thread when she was sacked from the US version of The X Factor earlier this year.

Glee star Matthew Morrison recently told Reveal that 28-year-old Cheryl could make it big in the US by appearing on the show.
'Cheryl is on the front of every newspaper and magazine in the UK. It's not the same in America, but I still think she can crack it over there,' he said.
'She is a talented girl.'
In her new movie role, the former X Factor star will not have to deviate too far from real life as she plays a talent show judge.
